MDA Release: Morfik Built Website Sample Project

Morfik is pleased to announce the release of the Morfik Built Website sample project.

The Morfik Built Website sample project shows how to implement simple features in your Morfik project to build a simple yet complete website. Those features include editing content on the website in administration mode, sending emails with attachments, saving and loading files from the server, using Security Package for administration purposes and many more.

MDA Release: Image Slider Package

Morfik is pleased to announce the release of the Image Slider package.

The Morfik Image Slider package creates a horizontal display of multiple images that can have titles displayed and can be grouped by category. This package mimics the image slider found on the Apple Mac web page. The images slider can also be used as a slide show.

This package includes a sample project that shows how to implement required features in your Morfik projects.

This package is available to all MDA Plus and MDA Premium subscribers and can be downloaded from the Morfik Packages webpage.

MDA Release: Sound Manager Package

Morfik is pleased to announce the release of the Sound Manager package.

The Morfik Sound Manager package adds the ability to playback audio files in a Morfik web application. This package is based on Schillmania's Sound Manager 2 and can play various sound formats in different browsers using JavaScript.

This package includes a sample project that shows how to implement required features in your Morfik projects.

This package is available to all MDA Plus and MDA Premium subscribers and can be downloaded from the Morfik Packages webpage.

Morfik and Altium

Hi Everyone,

I'm Nick Martin - I'm the guy who started Altium (known then as Protel) some 25 years ago.

I would like to share some of my thoughts on the whole Altium + Morfik equation, why we are doing this, what we are trying to achieve here and how this might all pan out.

As some of you now know, Morfik and Altium share a deep common heritage. This is based on the friendship and collaboration between Aram Mirkazemi and myself that dates back to the early days of Protel and before.

The intertwined nature of the development of technology and the explosion of infrastructure of the Internet, has been a spectacle that we have both been fascinated with for many years. Its clear now that this is the foundation of the next step for the evolution of our global society and we are seeing this unfold before us.

Morfik/Altium update

As we move closer to the completion of the business transaction between Morfik and Altium, certain patterns of restructuring are beginning to emerge which we will share with you as they materialize into action.

The restructuring is mostly an outcome of future plans to increase the organizational resources that will be directed towards Morfik to boost its sales and marketing activities and to increase its adoption in the wider developer community.
